I am searching for anyone who my still have a copy of WP5.1, I currently have it installed and running, but lost my disks during my last move. I will soon have to re-format the hard drive and will loss the program when I do this, and would hate to have to purchase again, Thanks for taking the
time to read this!

just save the folder on another partition or hard drive. remember to add wp5 to your path statement after you reinstall DOS. That's one of the nice things about DOS apps, you really don't have to reinstall as long as you have the folder where the program resides. You could use Ranish partition manager to resize your current partition and create a second partition to save your DOS programs to. You can get Ranish here:

You can use an online drive for this. Just zip the entire wp51 content and upload it to an online drive. Do your format, then download and unzip. Here are a few places you can use, all free:Xdrive
Yahoo briefcase
Swiftdesk
Filegenie

If you have a CD-R, just back up your present C:\ drive and you will have your entire application on CD.

I probably have WP5.1 on 5.25" floppies, if that would help. If not then to copy all files in your wp51 directory & all of the sub-directories create the following.
1. C:\>attrib +a *.*/s (C:\> is prompt)
or C:\>attrib +a wp51\*.*/s
This sets all attributes to A in c-drive or wp51 directory and all sub directories.
2. C:\>xcopy wp51\*.* a:\*.*/s/m
Repeat 2. until all files are copied onto floppy disks. Three (3) or four (floppies) are required to copy all files. Note "/m" resets the attribute so the copied file does not get copied again.
To restore type the following for each of your floppies at prompt d:/> (d is any drive)
xcopy a:/*.* c:/wp51/*.*/s
