Reply: (edit)You should really ask about that in the Win2K forum - it's pretty much 'DOS only' here (like the sign says) The secret of life is honesty and fair dealing..if you can fake that, you've got it made.

Reply: (edit)NO, it will not work you first need to make sure the available DOS drivers will recognize the CD Drive. http://www.computing.net/dos/wwwboard/forum/15568.html If that is successful you need to install a minimal DOS installation on the C: drive, and also copy over the contents of the W2K CD to a folder on the hard drive, upon rebooting you will be at the C:\_ and the W2K FORUM should be able to take you further, but please be aware this will list a Dual Boot scenario. Reply: (edit)1) SYSing the hard drive from a W98SE OEM Boot Disk will suffice providing the boot disk also can install the USB Drivers 2) If you achieved 1) then try: md temp and press enter xcopy /s *.* and press enter 3) At reboot you will be presented with C:\_ MSDOS Command Prompt where you will need to navigate to the "temp" directory btw I added a post which states WXP to the W2K forum but the basics are the same in W2K.
