Which dos files can I delete to free up Hard Drive space?

I have an old 386 with only 30mb hard drive running dos 6.2 and win 3.1. I need to free up another 2mb for a program i want to install. Have already removed as much old unused programs as i can. I read awhile back in an old dos 5 manual that thier are certian files and programs which you will never use or need. Can some one tell me so I don't have to compress the drive. Also are thier any win 3.1 files i don't really need? Thanks....

on Win 3.1, you can remove most of the fonts, screenn savers, backgrounds, etc. You will not free up a lot of space out of dos files , but you could delete the interlnk, power and any sys files that you are not loading in your autoexec or config. The msav and mwav files are antivirus programs and the msbackup are backup program. If you are not going to compress using drivespace or double space these can be removed.
