Follow one of the thousands links in older posts in this forum about getting the latest DOS version. You are not the first one to ask that question.
Also, I hope that you understand that by downloading and installing DOS you are committing a crime. DOS isn't freeware.

Mick C's Web Site has what you seek. Click on "MS-DOS Resource Page", then scroll way down to where it says "MS-DOS Disks". Click that and you should be on your way. Latest version of real DOS = 6.22.

I have the following message on my laptop-
Missing Operating System
I had deleted Windows 3.1 in order to install a warehouse locator system that runs on MS-DOS platform. What do I need to do to be able to install this software?
I have FDISKED to partition harddrive, and then tried fresh install?
Do I need a boot disk? If so whre can I obtain one?
Please advise.

Mick C's web site has a DOS 6.22 boot disk. However, if you download DOS 6.22 from the links I provided above, you can simply boot the first floppy disk and install it all from there.
