You may be better informed if you post this message in the Windows 9x Forum as well, It involves MS-DOS, but may be more to do with your overall setup.

Match up the numbers with your error message. I really enjoy using the microsoft site for my error messages. Sometimes they help pinpoint the actual problem. Sometimes it doesn't help. But it won't hurt to try. Good Luck

MAKE SURE THE SHORTCUT IS IT POINTING AT C:\WINDOWS\COMMAND.COM . IF IT IS NOT, REBUILD THE SHORTCUT. JUST GO TO THE LOCATION THAT I INDICATED AND PULL IT TO YOUR DESKTOP. RENAME IT ANYWAY YOU WANT (IF NEEDED) AND REPLACE YOUR OLD SHORTCUT.
