is there a program that will id a video card from dos..?? i have a bunch & would like to find out the details on them.. specifically how much memory is on them..

there is a way using 'debug.exe'. i'll try to look for it in my archives.

I found roughly a dozen sites with good, detailed information explaining how to identify unknown video hardware. It took me--quite literally--about five seconds using a very simple Google search.

Yeah--all you have to do is use DEBUG.exe to look through the adapter ROM. Manufacturers invariably put text in the ROM that can often give you a clue about the make and model of the adapter.
