i tried to download a game but an error came up saying couldn't set graphics mode, make sure you have a VESA compatible driver loaded. i have never heard of a VESA driver before. is it something i can download? what do i do?

You can get a driver called UniVBE and load it from the AUTOEXEC.BAT or you can download Scitech Display Doctor. VESA stands for Video Electronics Standard Association. It's used to access SVGA modes in DOS mode. Scitech Display Doctor is my personal favourite. You can now download verson 6.53 for free, it's VERY outdated though (around 1998) but if you have an older video card, it shouldn't matter.
Summary: I want to run Championship Manager 97/98 season, but when i try to run the game it comes up no VESA DRIVER. Is there anyone who can help me i would be ever so grateful....
