There was once a dos program called FILEDATE that you could change the date and time independently. I use to use it to set versions of my programs. This was in the days of real DOS.

FILEDATE is available at http://www.abf-dev.com/free-tools.shtml (Just click the "Homepage" above)

Usage: FileDate.exe [Mask] [Date] [Time] [/r]
Example: FileDate.exe c:\progs\*.exe 03/06/00 01-35-00 /r
Mask - the file mask ("*.*" by default)
Date - date to set, format is "MM/DD/YY"
Time - time to set, format is "HH-MM-SS"
/r - option to process sub-folders

Should do the job for you.

Baldy.

Also have a look at File Date & Time Changer (Win32) at URL: http://riedersoft.myftp.org:85/~users/nirsoft/utils/filedatech.zip
(also set in "Homepage" above)

Does the job from within the Win32 GUI.

Baldy.
