Hi,
I'm using usbaspi.sys for recognizing my external USB harddisk. When booting it is recognized and showes a name. THe disk is Fat32 and i'm using win98 DOS. That should be fine. Although everything is found and loaded I still get a "Invalid Drive Specification" message when I try to connect to the harddrive by any letter (c: d: e: etc)
Even adding the line Lastdrive=z to the config.sys doesn't have any effect.
What to do?

Are you using the latest Panasonic version of usbaspi.sys ?? they were developed for MS-DOS6 not WinDOS.
If you are GHOSTING then try www.acronis.com

This is the latest Windblows Driver Package which includes the "USBASPI ASPI Manager for USB mass-storage Version 2.20 (C)Copyright Panasonic Communications Co., Ltd. 2000-2004"

Try putting the first line as USBASPI....
in CONFIG.SYS
