What should i do if i want to use my zip drive in dos mode. I have a laptop whit a broken cdrom and need to reinstall Windows.
Thanx.

USB and DOS aren't compatable. I've heard some company somewhere has made a DOS driver for USB but I've never seen it. Unless someone has a quick, cheap answer you'll need to figure out a different way to solve your problem.
My suggestion is to buy a null modem serial cable or a parallel Laplink computer connection cable. Then download LapLink or FastLynx, or use interlnk/intersvr from DOS 6 and transfer your Windows95 install files to your laptop's hard drive. Then use a Win boot disk to startup your laptop and run setup for Windows.
Most OfficeMax, OfficeDepot type stores have a computer connection cable (db25 to db25) that connect parallel printer ports on two computers. You can get LapLink or Fastlynx from Mick's Powerload site or my dinky little home page.
Need further help, feel free to write.
