USB Floppy in DOS

I'm trying to use the a USB DOS driver (duse.exe) to get a USB Floppy (3.5" 1.44mb) working on a DOS system (MS DOS 6.22). The drivers install ok and it recongnizes the USB port now (the disk drive light comes on when I plug it in. But I can't figure out how to actually use the drive. It doesn't seem to want to map it to any specific drive letter. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I have a ms dos zip drive bootdisk that I made that will install the drivers for you.if you want it I'll send it to you.but keep in mind its a bootdisk.

Yes USB is supported under DOS although you can't boot from the device unless your BIOS allows it. Alternatively, an IDE compact flash adapter with a card containing the necessary drivers etc will do for a fast solid state solution. Some bits of interest can be found at:
