Wrong, it is a 'generic' USB driver. It worked on my USB CD-ROM.

Anyway, it doesn't work with many USB devices, such as USB printers, USB joysticks, USB thumbdrives, USB modems, etc.

You are correct, it doesn't. There is no magic USB bullet, but I try and amass as many drivers as I can. For any future readers of this thread, check out the USB resource page on my home page.

Can't get the DUSE to work on my Sony Vaio PictureBook. MSCDEX keeps initiating "Invalid Parameters" error. Any suggestions?

Hi All!
You can get the USBASPI.SYS and di1000dd.sys (IMHO, it's USBDISK.SYS) from http://www.driver.novac.co.jp/driver/mhairu_drv.html, in file http://www.driver.novac.co.jp/driver/mhairudos.zip. Unfortunately, all text in README.TXT is in Japanese, so I can only guess the sense. Can anybody translate it for all us?
Summary: I believe that USB driver is too specific to the hardware it was written for to benefit any other device. Thanks for the heads up though. -Michael ...
