A bundle of 1994 floppy disks have an unfamiliar compression format on them. Each disk has a single file with incrementing extensions; CC40705a.001, CC40705a.002 etc. Viewing each file shows 'Norton Ver 1E' to be the first few characters. Other Ascii bits at the top of the files are 'CC40705a.FUL' and 'Version 1.0 for Microsoft'. The disks came from a mapping company using AutoCad in July 1994 and will contain '.dxf' files. Has anyone got any ideas and relevant downloads? Thank you. Keith Porritt.

This turned out to be MicroSoft Backup and Restore - MSBACK.exe from the original Win95 CD could crack it.
