Hi Group,
I saw some old posts asking questions about the T3100/20 but the forum rightly doesn't allow responses to the really old threads.
Some handy information:
1. BIOS is accessed through the program "test.exe" which is included on the Toshiba DOS disk. You can adjust your drives, memory, etc. but your choices are very limited. I have it if needed.
2. There is a Y2K fix program that works perfectly so the dates work out. It's freeware and I can provide.
3. I also have other nice things like high screen resolution adaptor, curser control, and other utilities that made running WIN 3/3.1 OK but it wasn't a useful system overall to me.
4. Have the original manuals, etc. so I can look something up.
Finally, I've modified the machine many years ago to run a 486SX with a cache enabler. MS-DOS 6.2 loads everything high so I have 614K left below and plenty of expansion memory left. Lots of fun tinkering with the old war horse that I lugged around in the late 80s. Oh, you can change out your CMOS battery easy. Radio Shack has generic replacements. That's what was driving one poster's problem last year.
I'll check to boards in a bit to see if there's any other fans out there.
Warm regards, Kev

You could put a email with your name in case this becomes one of those really old threads.
That way someone could contact you in the future. Just a suggestion I don't have one of those laptops.
