Make sure your floppy is reconized in your system BIOS. Your ThinkPad's manual should tell you how to enter your BIOS. Once you enter it, make sure you have you computer to boot from drive A first and then Drive C:\.

This should fix you problem.

Good Luck,

Leo

I am having the same problem with my 755CD,
from what i can see it seems to be related to a formmating error on the hard disk, as if you remove the HD the floppy will boot ok? but locks the whole system up if the HD is pressent.?

The only way I can see round the problem at the moment would be a program to re-partittion the HD without using dos. That booted from the FDD.
BUT i dont know of one do you ?
