Dave,
Download the latest driver for the card from www.3com.com . 3Com always includeds packet drivers with their drive downloads. After you unzip the 3com driver, there will be a folder called packet. JUst look there and it should be there. I got a packet driver for my 3c509 and it worked splendedly. One thing I need to warn you about, is that my PC locked up when I loaded the packet driver after I had logged onto my NT domain. I had no problems web browsing when I loaded the packet driver before I logged into the network. Meaning if I wanted to browse the web, I did not login to the network, but simply loaded the packet driver. After browsing the web, I unloaded the packet driver, logged into the network and it worked fine. Apparently they (the packet and network drivers) cannot be loaded at the same time. It may however work on a Novell shop so feel free to try it.
Hope this helps. -Michael
