I am having trouble. I backed up my files then formatted my hard drive. What do I do next?
When I boot from floppy, I select the cd-rom assistance, it does a few things, prepares to start my computer, loads diagnostic tools to D: , but that only bring me to an a:
When I use the product recovery disk it brings me into the program, asks for licence agreement etc, prepares disk, then gives me a LONG list of invalid drive specifications.
HELP ME. I would like to get my other computer working ASAP. But I am a tard with this stuff.

You have to re-format the hard drive with the
/s switch IE ( a:\format/s c:\ )then re-boot to c:\
then install from a:\ the dos cd-rom drivers
to c:\re-boot again
your on your way.....

When I boot from recovery cd-rom I get an invalid drive specification message. Then it loads PKUNZIP extract utility and gives me a "write protect error writing to drive A" prompt.
