Hello, I just recently acquired an old Tandy 1000 TX which still works, but there is one problem.
The message "Non-System Disk or disk error. Replace and press any key when ready appears when the drive is empty.
It seems it needs a Boot Disk. I don't have one. What I need to knw is what the density of the floppy drive is and where I can get a boot disk. I would really like to get this computer working.
If anyone has any knowledge of this computer and can help, please respond.

Probably, your Tandy uses a 3.5 inch 720k diskette which would have the letters "DD" for double density on it somewhere. I used to have a few Tandy's and they all had 3.5 inch drives.

Yeah, it has a 5.25" at the top and a 3.5" at the bottom. When it boots, and the computer checks for a floppy the 3.5" light flickers which is what leads me to think THAT one is the A:
Well, I just opened it up to see if I could find a "DD" on it, but couldn''t even remove the drive because of the very tight screws and the ScrewDriver was starting to ruin the screw. So I stopped. I'm guessing it still has the original drives. OEM if you will. ;-)
Summary: The Tandy 1000 TX originally came with MS-DOS 3.20.22 and Personal DeskMate 2 does anyone know where I can download a copy? Thank You, Tandy Guy ...
Summary: Hi, I know is not a dos question but I was wondering if anyone knew what style of motherboard the Tandy 1000 Series used and where I could get a replacement computer case for it. Thanks, DOS3 S...
