System halts

I have a computer with i810e chipset and celeron 900Mhz proccessor.I installed Drdos bcause Pc dos-7 and Ms dos 6.22 was not comptable with my system configuration.
Dros 7 was fine,but when i installed my audio driver ad1881 in windows 3.1,My system halts while shutting down.Also hatls when I try to load mask software with calmira.
Is there any better dos which will work fine with my configuration is available for FREE.

Okay, why in the world are you running Windows 3.1? I can understand DOS but not Windows 3.1... anyways, I can't understand why you're having trouble with PC-DOS 2000 (7). I would have suggested MS-DOS 7.x but then you wouldn't be able to run Windows 3.1. I have some version of DOS on my FTP, e-mail me if you're interested...
