I am making a dos boot CD with a menu in the config.sys file and that works fine. I did have a problem trying to run 1 application in which it didn't want to run if i loaded any drivers at all, including the CD-ROM drivers. I ended up having to copy that application to the floppy with the boot image. When i selected it, it did ran from the CD but from the Bootimg.bin file (A:). My problem now is that i have 2 programs with the same condition. Right now i'm only running 1 application, but would eventually like to run both from the CD. I tried loading the CD-ROM drivers in high memory but that still didn't work. And both programs won't fit in the floppy. Are there any dos drivers that i can use? How can i get both of these programs to run from the CD?

I have a feeling that the driver issue is a bit of a red herring, nevertheless, you can by-pass all drivers by hitting the [F5] key when "Starting MS-DOS" shows on the screen during boot-up. That initself could cause a problem if the CD doesn't want to mount as a drive. A way around it would be to create a RAMDISK and bootmenu. here is an Example. The reason that I think the driver issue may be a red herring for at least one of the programs is the read-only nature of the CD. Many programs need to write to disk as they start-up and that might explain why a program may run from a floppy if it is NOT write-protected, but won't run from a CD. A RAMdisk usually solves the problem. The RAMdisk utility shown in my examples can be found Here. The example I posted for you is just a rough draft I threw together quickly and I have not tested it, but it should give you the general idea and, hopefully, help you find a solution.
