What is the differnce between the two? I have a soundblaster pro card & I had a hard disk crash. I do not have the drivers because I bought the card used & the technician did not give me the drivers when he installed them. I do have soundblaster 16-bit drivers for another computer that I have. Will these drivers work on the other computer with the soundblaster pro card? Someone told me soundblaster pro was downward compatible with soundblaster.

they're pretty close to the same....if i recall correctly sound blasters where 8 bit, and the pro's were 8 it stereo.....ooo... :)
often times, even when using a sound blaster 16, the sound blaster and sound blaster pro drivers could be used if needed and it would work
i'm not so sure the sb16 drivers would work with an older one tho....can't hurt to try
or you could download them....you can search for the drivers at http://www.windrivers.com
