How can I make working my Soundblaster PCI 128 with DOS (of course, for a few old, but funny games).
The card works fine with Linux and NT, but there are no DOS drivers included on the CD-ROM.

I just bought a SBPCI512 which installed a
line in my autoexec.bat file to initialize
the computer for dos on startup. Its called
sbsim.com. In control panel under hardware
it also lets you modify the creative dos
settings such as dma, address, etc... Double
check the cdrom that came with your card. I
am sure it has a program on it to install the
dos drivers.

Hi, Peter. I had the same problem. In DOS mode, the PCI128 use a ISA card emulation, which is sometimes not supported by BIOS. Check yours and see if a 'ISA EMULATION' or somethin this kind is enabled. If not, try to update your BIOS. Good luck.
Lobotom.

I also have a pci128 but at the moment i have put it in a pc with no windows installed so i really need a dos driver because the driver from creative can only be used under ms.dos and not dos 6.22
