I have a mac with a dos card installed.
I have setup windows 95 and I when I play games under windows the sound is fine, but some games(Xcom Ufo) run in dos mode and then the sound is distorted. It crackles and pops after a sound is played. I have the right drivers installed but I think I need to change a setting in dos to make it run better. please help

hmmm - this could be the sound card. Soundblaster cards have a habit of hissing in dos and this can be your problem.
