Sound in DOS

I have a Soundblaster 64V PCI sound card. How can I get it to work in DOS mode, or is that even possible.
I have tried all sorts of things and am open to any ideas.
One of the things I tried (a program that installs older drivers) complained that it could not find the cards i/o at 220, yet that is where it is.

I have a SondBlaster 64 ISA PNP and I had to locate and install CTCMBBS.exe first. This is the manager for a PNP card under DOS.

I'm really not sure if the ISA card driver will work with the PCI card. I've never used an SB64 PCI.

Since at least the beginning of 2002, computer users are being forced away from making computers from motherboards, using DOS or large drives, etc. My point is that there is probably no way to install DOS drivers for the PCI card. In my latest PC Mall catalog I notice there are no Hard Drives for sale. Maybe it is a one issue slip up, but that is where computing is being herded--to computers that are fully assembled only. Good luck on searching web sites for a better answer.

It works.
Looking through those links I saw where sbinit.com was mentioned. I tried that, and once I had all the required files, it worked.
Thanks for the help.
