I wish to get sound in DOS, I have a partition with DOS 6.22 on it, and I would like to have sound in it for when I launch a game, or Fusion PC 3.0. How would I go about doing this? The sound card is a Sound Blaster 16 PCI. Model Number SB4740. What values do I need to put in the autoexec.bat and config.sys to get it working? I have the original driver disc, but I see no DOS drivers for the sound card on it. Where could I get the drivers?

I installed a SB-16 ISA card in my P2-300 so I could play DOS games the way they were meant to be played and heard.

You can get the drivers from creativelabs.com

There are instructions there for determiing your Sound Card model number, etc..

I currently have Windows 2000 Sp3 installed. The reason that I wish to put DOS on the machine, is because I like the command line, and DOS is the most stable platform that I have used. I also would like to see if FusionPC 3.0 will emulate a Macintosh faster than BasiliskII biuld 143 will. I finally got the sound card drivers, now I just have to setup FusionPC
