I bought a laptop no OS ,I have external CD adonnics With drives in floppy disk , I have my OS windows95 ,but Idon't know How I can install the drives my CD in my hard drive , when my computer is ON my computer say C:\ ,I followed all instruccions I put a:\dossetup (with drives inside my floppy disk)my computer say drives adonnics and my computer say ENTER THE SOURCE DRIVE AND DIRECTORY WHERE THE SOFTWARE WILL BE INSTALLED FROM. Sounds like it sees your CD rom. "Installed from:" erase the a:\> and type: D: and then enter. "Will be installed" if it already says C:\ then just hit enter.

thanks techtony ,I forget say my CD is with pcmcia , i CAN't when I put d:say invalid drive specification

1. you have to have an OS on your laptop. Get a DOS 6.22 bootdisk (or whatever version of DOS you want) and either use sys.com c: to transfer an operating system to the laptop's hard drive or if you have a DOS package, run setup.exe. 2. You need to install CardServices software. It will place drivers in the bootup file named: c:\config.sys which will enable your laptop to "recognize" the pcmcia device. You can download CardSoft software at my web page.

I can't open CARD SOFT

You download it as a *.zip file. You'll need WinZip to unpackage it. Make sure you unpack it to a diskette then run the installation program on the laptop using the diskette.
