I have the SiS 6326 AGP gfx card, but it refuses to run VESA software. No High Res in Dos :)
I have installed a demo of Scitech Display Doctor 6 and this has fixed the problem. But this expires after 21 days. I should not have to buy extra software to use the features of my gfx card, so could someone please tell me where I can get a VESA driver for this card, or could someone please e-mail it to me.
Please reply via e-mail
Many Thanks

David Cane

I have a PC100 mother board with exactly the same problem.
It can't run DOS based stuff that requires a
High definition display. I would appreciate any help with this.
Cheers

Try to download file SISVBE.exe from:
http://www.sis.com.tw/driver/driver.htm

I run it before games that require VESA BIOS like Screamer Rally (Virgin) and it WORKS!

;-)) Bye!

Also you can download a newer bios for your card, which will enable it to support vesa 2.0. Or you can just download the TSR which means you dont have to risk damging your card by reprogramming it. The TSR is run before windows starts and allows you to use the latest vesa 2.0 etensions for your card works great :) get them at www.sis.com.tw/driver/driver.html
cya :)
