Help does anyone know how to use VBEHz. I need it to display my DOS at 1024x768 85Hz. But the program doesn't offer any how to use instructions. So I'm quite stuck. All I'm told is to load 2 lines at my autoexec.bat:
C:\Gx00VBE\Gx00VBE.COM (*a VBE3 driver for the G400 card)
C:\VBEHZ\VBEHZ.COMAnd when I reboot this is what I see at DOS screen:
---------------
G400VBE V0.8 has been installed, frambuffer at 0E8000000h
VBEHertz 2.23 (Freeware) now installed and active

I still see the same flicker and large text. So how to proceed then to make it 1024x768 85Hz?
Using a Matrox G400 card. Thanks.

What I understand from this site: Link, it doesn't work in DOS, only in a Windows 95-98 DOS-box.
Also to my knowledge you can't change the resolution on real DOS since it is textbased.
