I installed a WD 7200rpm 60 ggb hard drive on an old Compaq 7470 comp. In order to install windows 98 se it must first run Scandisk (DOS one). When scandisk runs it finds 64k of what it calls might be a lost directory or file. When i tell it to delete it ,the progress bar goes 200% and brings up a message box with "Ü" in the middle. Can anybody (please) tell me how to get scandisk to work?

You need to install a patch on Win 98 SE to read HD's of 32 Go and more. See Microsoft.com for this.
