Hello, I am having problems getting to sound to work with my old dos games. I have a SB live! soundcard and I guess they dont have any dos drivers. I was wondering if anyone knows of a solution. I have read about soundblaster 16 emulation or something like that but dont know what that is either. Thanks in advance.

Reinstall your drivers and do a custom install to install the DOS drivers. Their ARE DOS drivers, and it's SB16 emulation.

You will need to go to www.creative.com chose u.s.a location then click on support then choose your operating system and sound card type in your case(Sound Blaster Live)and download the updated drivers. That will usually Include sounblaster 16 emulation for dos based games and make your sound card work perfect again. GOOD LUCK!
