running dos program on LAN of winNT and win95; error # 1

I am trying to run a dos program that is installed on WinNT machine from a remote Win95 machine to which it is networked. The program starts but then lists a error # 1 file does not exist...\lakedb\lakegen.dbf After executing the program, the remote machine can't find the other files it needs. How can I fix this?
