Comment:

I am trying to run a dos program that is installed on WinNT machine from a remote Win95 machine to which it is networked. The program starts but then lists a error # 1 file does not exist...\lakedb\lakegen.dbf
After executing the program, the remote machine can't find the other files it needs. How can I fix this?

Thanks,

Joe

Reply:

copy the dbf file (database file) it's missing into the appropriate directory of the installed program and then try running the program again.

if it can't find the file, it probably means the file (lakegen.dbf) is crucial for operating.
