Although the above will work, it's not really a solution. The DOS game when it was installed assumed you were using DOS 6 or lower and made some changes to your Autoexec.bat and Config.sys. Not a good thing. If "Real Mode" drivers were installed, it can create all sorts of problems in Windows. Here is a fairly simple solution that should allow you to have a healthy Windows install and run that DOS game as well.

Boot the computer and when you come to the DOS prompt type:
Edit autoexec.bat
When edit is open, choose File from the top tool bar and Save As from the drop-down menu. In the box where you see C:\*.*, delete C:\*.* and type in C:\Windows\DOSSTART.BAT
Click the OK button
You will be asked if you want to replace the file, choose Yes.
Now delete all of the text so the file is empty, now go to Save As and save as C:\Autoexec.bat
Exit Edit and reboot.
You should go striaght to Windows now. When you want to run the game go to Start Button\Shutdown\Restart In MS-DOS mode
The Autoexec.bat instructions that you saved as DOSSTART.BAT will kick in and you can run the game by going to it's folder and running the executeable. For example:
CD\ [Press Enter]
(this takes you from C:\Windows to C:\)
CD Pong [Press Enter}
(this takes you to C:\Pong)
Pong.exe [Press Enter]
(this runs Pong)

BTW, the Config.sys changes aren't a problem as they will be ignored when you enter Windows.
