I recently stupidly deleted some files that were needed for Windows 98 to start up. Is it possible to restore items from the recycle bin through dos, if so how do I do this? (I dont have a clue with dos, so please explanin fully) Thanks for any help

I not sure if this will work, the files in the recycled folder have different names than the original ones (they all begin DC) does this mean the files have been affected or have they just been renamed? Ii there no direct command just to restore the files instead of copying them?
