i have changed the bitmaps (nothing else) in a copy of Browseui.dll. now, i would like to replace the old copy with this new copy of Browseui.dll
someone told me that i have to do this via dos since it's a system file. Please tell me how to do that and give me as much details as you can coz i'm a dummy of Dos. THANK YOU!!

I'm not sure if you HAVE to be in DOS, but here's what I would do:
When you first enter DOS, you have the C:\ prompt.
Navigate to where the new browseui.dll is by using 'cd *folder name*'. you can use 'dir' to list files/directories in the directory you are currently in.
Once you are in that folder, use the command 'copy browseui.dll C:\Windows\System32\browseui.dll' My original browseui.dll is in C:\Windows\System32, so I assume yours is also.
Once you type that command, it will ask you if you would like to overwrite the original file, and to that type 'y' to accept. That should do it! :)
