I need to replace two corrupt files from an old PC-DOS 7.1 system - fdisk and format. No one seems to know where the original disks went.

Anyone know where I can download them legally?

Are you sure it is PC-DOS7.1 ?

PC-DOS 200O (v7 revision1) there was also Symantec Norton use modifed PC-DOS Boot Disks I believe they were 7.1. Needless to say unless you actually know the right version it is hard to say where you will find them, except buying on EBAY a full version.

I find it strange that these two files are corrupt. Can you please elaborate.

As this is for a 386, why not just install a new version of dos, such as 6.2x. This has to be easier than trying to locate files for an 'odd' version of (non ms?) dos.

Good Luck - Keep us posted.
