reading Ini file variables from Batch/Dos Prompt

Hi People,
I am trying to read and use variables in a bat file from an ini files.I am having difficulty reading it and setting it .Any kind of help is appreciated

A small BASIC program would probably be your best bet.

type stuff.ini (enter)or notepad?

Yes U have .ini file .but i have problem reading it from a dos prompt(CMD prompt)
