I am using Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2...i don't know which DOS i have and i don't know how to find out..Any help?

Let us come back to my batch file.
CheckSum is procedure to ensure the data transmission is correct or not? You can read about it http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Checksum

Actually i have a *.exe file for peforming CheckSum. When the operation is performed i will get some reports in the batch file/command prompt like this "[10 files modieis]"

What i need is to read this and write it to a text file. Is it possible. I started playing with batch file a week before.

Thank you for your reply.
