Try the latest version of DUSE.

DUSE 4.4(Sep 20,2002):

http://www.pocketec.net/downloads.taf rocks.

The following configuration using Powerquest's DeployCenter 5.0 works with DUSE.exe for me:

1) A USB/Firewire 80GB 7200 RPM drive from www.acomdata.com, I picked mine up at compusa.com.

2) Connected to the USB port on my SuperMicro P4DP6 operating an Adaptec 2000S RAID5 Array controller spinning 4 IBM 10K RPM drives as C drive.

3) PowerQuest's "DeployCenter 5.0" (formerly DriveImage Pro, www.powerquest.com)

Effective Transfer Rate is 31MB per minute, fast enough to make those 3GB images move with minimum pain!!! I can't say how happy I was when I saw it work. Just put DUSE.exe on the imagecenter floppy and add duse.exe to the config.sys (device=duse.exe) and go!

Hallo,
I have a Dvico Momobay enclosure for an ide disk. I would like to mount this disk from DOS. I have downloaded the driver DUSE 4.4 and added a line in the config.sys to load it. The system hangs as it starts to load the driver. Can anybody tell me which options I have to use in the config.sys?
Thanks in advance.

Regarding the system hang:

Check your bios settings. If there is an option for "USB Legacy Keyboard Support" or something to that effect, ensure it is DISABLED.

You might also try the EMULATE option, since system hangs are often due to a device conflict.
