I am going to attempt to pull a bad board out of a 486 & put an older pentium board in it Ive got. Can I use the same power supply from the 486 or do I have to have a different one?

If the connectors are the same style, then the power supply will work.

Make sure it is an "AT" psu (two connectors)
Make sure the black wires on both connectors go to the center on the motherboard on reconnection
