Please help me !!! Where can I download the MEMMAKER.exe file ?
If you know ,please, answer me here .
Thanks.

It depends on what version of Windows/DOS you are using...
if you are using win98 and DOS 7.0 and later, forget it...
Memmaker requires setver.exe and another file I forgot which which also doesnt come with dos 7.x...
I tried it on my computer it DIDNT work at all thank god I had a boot disk...

This web-site http://www.kewlone.com/ is offering free downloading for win 3.1 disks 1 - 6 + a help page & Dos 6.22 disks 1 - 4.
There is no WARRANTY on those downloads; I didn't download as I have both OS's so I am not sure about their legal status/integrity.

More... the following web site also offering DOS & Windows 3.1 downloads. Again, there is no WARRANTY on those downloads and I am not sure about their legal status/integrity.

Please state which version of MS-DOS you are useing. And I am sure someone will copy file from correct version for you.
Guys,
Please give more details with requests. I could have e-mailed you with copy if for MS-DOS 6.22 If you gave an e-mail address that is...

Try going into your windows directory, there is an ms-dos shortcut in there with a real long name, something like "MS-DOS For Games With EMS and XMS Support". Run it. It will say you need to go into dos to run it, hit yes. Then it will reboot into dos mode, when it does you will have EMS enabled, so you dont really need memmaker, this way is better and its temporary (so it wont screw up windows).

Brad,
Your answer is fine if you have a Win9x Problem. Which I also suspect is the case.
Memaker.Exe is a Memory Organiser bundled with all versions MS-DOS 6x If you have the DOS Disks you have Memaker.
Memaker will not optomise Win9x setups.

Download the following file:
ftp://ftp.microsoft.com/softlib/mslfiles/OLDDOS.EXE
This file contains MEMMAKER and other DOS Files left out of Windows 95

I purchased a book called "Maximizing Windows 98" by Lenny Bailes where the author recommends using memmaker to give more memory. After reading these comments I dont want to try it. Who's right??

Hello!
I have the answer on that question!;
Just DON'T lose the file!
It takes you ages to download all the stuff you need to get your computer back...
So if I were you, I would start right now with downloading, and next time; don't be so stupid!
C.U. & good luck!

I'm looking for a copy of mem maker.exe for dos 6.22, if someone could send this to me I would be much ableiged. marcus_g_g@hotmail.com
thank you
