pkzip/unzip files

i downloaded some games off the net and the games were zipped and i have absolutely no idea how to unzip the files,,please help

If you are using windows get a version of Winzip if not get PkZip and PkUnzip and at the command propt type "PkUnzip" and it will give you instructions.

One simple way of unzipping the stuff is to put the game zip file in a temporary directory. Copy your PKUNZIP.exe to the same directory and then type PKUNZIP *.zip from that same directory.
Then read any text files that are uzipped that might explain the installation of the game.

For MS-DOS & Windows 3.1 download PK-ZIP from:
www.pkware.com
For Windows 3.1/95/98 download WinZip from:
www.winzip.com
Both programs have good help files.

Hi when you download pkzip/unzip you will need to put these files under the windows folder. In c:\ When this is done, and you have a zip file you want to expand put in a folder on it's own... Then with that folder open, go to (RUN) under start button and type in pkunzip *.zip . This will be the best way to do this...
