Phar Lap err 35 with Animator program under DOS

You must turn off this other program in order to use 386 DOS-Extender to run in protect mode". Well, I received the msg above when I was trying run Animator under Dos. What does it mean? What is the another program if I re-booted? How and what can I turn off...? I thank you in advance... Andre Castro
