Hi, I need PCMCIA drivers for dos for my Compaq EVO600. On oficial site there are any. It use Texas Instruments PCI to PCMCIA bridge TI PCI-1420. I'd like to use my CF-PCMCIA reader to enable CF card as another drive.
I found and tried two driver packages:
CardSoft 5.32.23 - it displays something about incompatible platform and didn't install.
PhoenixCARD Manager 3.01 - it install and detect i82365 (it could be compatible with PCI-1420) and even associate drive letters for slot 0,1 but I cannot read from this drives :(
Any other sw I can try?

Hi, thanks for the link. I installed cardware 7 and let it modify my startup files.
When booting, loading folowing files in config.sys:
DPMS - OK
PCCS - "Socket Services not loaded" but below it prints "Card Services installed successfully"
SSPCIC /AP:ON /VS:AUTO /EC:AUTO /II:OFF /MX:OFF - "Detected: Texas Instruments PCI1420 (CardBus with 2 sockets(s) at I/O base 3E0h", "Number of PC Card adapters found: 1", "Socket Services installed successfully"
PCENABLE - "ERROR: Unable to register as Card Service Client, Return Code 20h, PCENABLE installation aborted"
PCATA - hangs my PC and I have to reboot.
Any idea why PCENABLE fails? I guess it detect the PCMCIA bridge OK but failed later.

And when I have FC adapter inserted, DOSCARD.exe /a
reports that card is present:
Scocket: '0'
Card: unable to get the card name
Voltages: Vcc: 3.3V Vpp1: 3.3V Vpp2: 3.3V
Function: Unknown function
Device: none
Configured by: card was not configuredSocket: '1'
Card: No Card insertedHm, seems like the drivers know my PCMCIA bridge but doesn't know the CF card
