I have an AST Ascentia M and a IBM PCMCIA 8X/20X CD-Rom drive. Due to a recent virus the hard drive is in ruins.

I want to reinstall, but I can't see the CD-ROM from DOS. I got the IBM drivers, but they didn't like the AST's hardware and AST have no drivers for this.

There is a similar message on this here, but all the links are now dead. any heal is much appreciated
