Hi,

I have a Toshiba Portege P2000 and I've been trying to rebuild this using the pcmcia cd rom it came up with. I am having a lot of troubles since it doesn't boot up via pcmcia as it's a 32 bit card and needed to be 16bit as I was told by Toshiba. I know that it may be possible to create a boot disk which will read the cd. I have seen a few posts around and would appreciate some help. The PCMCIA Cd rom is from Toshiba 24X although not made by them!

Thanks

First you need a 16bit PCMCIA CARD/CDROM.

The CD file you need is ARCCD.SYS which replaces the standard boot disk IDE/ATAPI CD Driver:
