Reply: (edit)PC-DOS 2000 is the Y2K corrected version of PC-DOS 7.0 which is compatable with MS-DOS 6.22. It has many more extras than MS-DOS, one of which is PCMCIA Socket Services support. It is not however a 32bit OS nor does it have Long File Name support, as some people will have you beleave. If you can find a copy it is well worth trying.

Reply: (edit)okay, i found a copy and installed it to see for myself. it is very similar to msdos 6.22 in terms of command syntax/switches. the comment above by noname is correct. in addition to that, pcdos 2000 still does NOT support fat32 PLUS it has REXX programming language included. i prefer this over drdos 7.03 and msdos 6.22. there were several programs i could not run with drdos 7.03: Fastracker 2.09, SEA 1.3 from Photodex.com, some keygens. drdos tip: turn DPMI off and use cwsdpmi instead.

Reply: (edit) to all those searching for pcdos 2000, when you get to eltumbong's site, it will say it's under construction. IT'S NOT!!!
click on the "click here". it will take you to another page where you can download the disk images. very tricky.
