Comment:

I have a primary partition and two logical partitions. Windows sees these just fine, but DOS doesn't! It only sees C: . I've tried booting with F8 (Command Prompt) and using the Windows 98 SE boot disk, but no dice, DOS is just being stubborn. How do I make DOS see the other two, logical partitions? They're all FAT32. Thanks, I appreciate your help.

DOS up to version 7.0x can not recognise FAT32 partitions, if you are talking about the DOS which comes with 98SE version 7.1x then it recognise FAT32 partitions.

If you use a Win 98 boot disk made from within W98SE you are actually in DOS when get to A:\>_ prompt, it does create a RAM drive. It will see all available FAT12 & 16 & 32 drives and the CD's if you choose that option on the menu

If you press F8 just before Windows loads up then you will get the DOS C:\>_ prompt, if not then it does appear that W98SE is at fault.
