Ok guys! Guess it's about time we got a bit more organized in this message board. Let's face it - Has a single week passed without hundreds of messages coming in with requests as to where DOS can be found. (Even I'm guilty of such requests --I accept it!). But then should we not have any organization? In response to such messages, many people invariably give out those precious links (at computing.net itself) to websites whose fate is sealed thereafter! They go down very soon. In order that we keep this legend (DOS) alive we should if not in the immediate future at least in the coming few weeks decide on a group of people who care for DOS (Count me in!) to setup a simple website at a free server like Yahoo Geocities! or anywhere for that matter where we can have all the links to all different versions of DOS. Now, anyone who requests for DOS can be asked to send an e-mail to this group of people (Create a new group in yahoogroups.com) so that we can send him the link! This way we can help to keep these websites alive. I welcome any suggestions in this regard (Good or Criticizing). I only hope that I can find a group of people like Preston, Tony, Harry anyone!!! who can give a helping hand. I again repeat, if any of you think this idea s***s or is bull s**t please do suggest another alternative.

I'm extremely sorry to those people who feel that I have wasted their precious time!!

Let’s remember “THE FUTURE IS IN THE PAST”. So let’s save GOOD OLD DOS!!!

Have a nice day ...

What's to keep Microsoft "spies" from asking and getting the links by e-mail?
