Hello & HELP! I am working with a not-for- profit group who has the Nutshell program set up for all the membership information. Well the computer died and they don't have the Nutshell program to re-install so that we can restore the data from backups. I would like to know if anyone has the install disk or will pkzip the programs so that I can move it onto a new pc, even for a fee, get the data back and then convert the data to an Access Database that I have created. I can say that the program will only be used for a disaster recovery process and then not used again. Please HELP! I am in a desperate need! Thank you in advance!

I did a little web searching and it seems that Filemaker Pro is very similar to Nutshell, in fact possibly a clone. If so, you might also look for Filemaker Pro to see if that operates with your backed-up database files.

It's funny. I didn't start out to help you, I started out looking for what NutShell was...
This guy apparently has (had) a copy, maybe he still does (look at the bottom of the page):

Good luck.

Try this URL for a Nutshell source:

Depending on which version you get, you will have either a decent program or a very good one. The original Nutshell had some minor interface glitches that were corrected in the revised version, but either version will work with the data you have, and can output Nutshell files in a variety of forms that could be picked up by other programs.
