Hi,

After running ntfsdos.exe I cannot run nc.exe (Norton Commander) - simply when I type nc.exe being in the path of NC, the floppy "seeks" for few seconds and then I'm in the command line again without any error message.
Why?

Probably because NC was not designed to handle the NTFS file system.

You can try it under WinNT 4.0 or XP !

Zennon is correct!!
I didn't believe my eyes, when I installed it on my XP machine, but you can actually run Norton Commander in a Command Prompt Window. Norton Utilities or Disk Doctor don't work since they are trying to get direct access to the hard drive, and copying a file with a long filename results in the normal eight letter filename ending with xxxxxx~1.ext. But still it works.
I raise my hat Zennon.

To your question I have no answer ATM.

Nigel
